A local Kazakh TV Channel Asyl Arna telecast Ambassador Abdul Salik Khan’s interview on 02 December 2016. The interview was conducted by former Member Parliament Mr. Tursynbek Omurzakov for his programme “Ambassador and Country”. The interview remained on air for 15 minutes.



In the interview, Ambassador Khan comprehensively addressed the present state of bilateral relations between Pakistan and Kazakhstan, appreciated the Kazakh leadership and highlighted their efforts for economic development and progress of the country.



Referring to Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif’s visit to Astana in August last year, Ambassador Khan underlined the importance he accorded to Central Asia particularly Kazakhstan. His vision of connectivity and peaceful neighborhood, were appropriately highlighted. Ambassador Khan emphasized on further strengthening of trade and economic relations between the two countries.

Ambassador Khan congratulated the people, government and leadership of Kazakhstan on the 25th anniversary of the independence of Kazakhstan.

Also handed over Kazakh version of the book “Jinnah of Pakistan” published by this Embassy last year, to the interviewer and producer.
