The National Day of Pakistan was celebrated in Astana
(Kazakhstan) on 23 March 2016 with passion and
enthusiasm.
Ambassador Abdul Salik Khan hoisted the National Flag at
the Embassy Residence in the morning of 23 March at 0900
hours. He also read out messages from the President and
the Prime Minister of Pakistan received on the occasion.
Members of Pakistani community, Embassy officers and
staff along with their families attended the event.
The National Day reception will be held on 24 March (23
being holiday due to Nauroz) which will be attended by a
large number of Kazakh dignitaries, members of the
diplomatic corps and Pakistani community living in
Astana.
On the occasion the Embassy in coordination with the
students of the Kazakh National University of Arts,
Astana, arranged a Pakistani cultural dance and
Pakistani dress show. |
