The Independence Day of Pakistan was celebrated in
Astana (Kazakhstan) on 14 August 2018 with traditional
zeal, passion and enthusiasm.
Ambassador - designated Dr. Imtiaz Ahmad Kazi hoisted
the National Flag at the Embassy Residence in the
morning of 14 August. Messages of the President and
Prime Minister of Pakistan received on the occasion were
also read out on the occasion. In his address, the
Ambassador thanked the community for their participation
in the ceremony and praised their role in Kazakhstan.
Recalling the sacrifices of our forefathers for
Pakistan, he urged all Pakistanis to play their role for
to achieve the goals for posterity.
Members of the Pakistani community, Embassy officers and
staff along with their families attended the event.
