The Commercial Office of the Embassy on Friday, 27 July 2018 organized a Mango Festival at Maga Park, Almaty and introduced Pakistani Mangoes for the first time in Kazakhstan. The Festival was a part of Ministry of Commerce & Textile drive of Emerging Pakistan for the promotion of Pakistan's trade and commerce. The opening ceremony was performed by the Chairman, Almaty Chamber of Commerce & Enterpreneur. At this occasion, mangoes were decorated on the stall, and visitors were offered free sliced mangoes, Smoothes and Mango Juice. The people took keen interest in mangoes taste colour and its nutrients value. The event proved successful as Pakistani fruit merchants booked orders for Pakistani mangoes worth 2 tonnes on the spot.
