Green with a vertical white band (symbolizing the role
of religious minorities) on the hoist side
A large white crescent and star are centered in the
green field
The crescent, star, and color green are traditional
symbols of Islam
The colors on the Pakistan flag represent the following:
White - peace and honesty & symbolizing the role of
religious minorities
Green - hope, joy and love and in many cultures have a
sacred significance as in Pakistan where the color green
